HFCL Reports Q4 Loss, Anticipates Revenue Growth in FY26
HFCL, a company making telecom and defense equipment, had a tough quarter with a loss of ₹81.4 crore due to less demand for fiber optic cables.
Revenue also went down.
For the whole year, profits were lower too.
However, the company is optimistic, expecting a big increase in sales (25-30%) next year.
This is because they expect to sell more fiber optic cables.
They are also getting into the defense sector, making items like ground surveillance radar, and have hired a new VP of international sales to boost their sales.
HFCL reported a net loss of ₹81.4 crore for Q4FY25, a decline from a profit of ₹110 crore year-on-year.
Quarterly revenue decreased by 39.6% year-on-year to ₹800.7 crore.
For the full year, profit after tax (PAT) fell 49% to ₹173.26 crore.
The company anticipates 25-30% revenue growth in FY26, driven by increased demand for optical fiber and OFC.
HFCL has appointed Bhunvesh Sachdeva as senior vice president of international sales.
