Babar Azam Returns to Domestic First-Class Cricket After Seven Years

Babar Azam is returning to Pakistan's domestic first-class cricket.

He will play for the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited team.

The team will face Khan Research Laboratories in a four-day match.

The game starts on September 24 at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium.

Babar has not played domestic first-class cricket since December 2019.

He is expected to play in at least two rounds of the tournament.

This match will give him more practice in longer red-ball cricket.

His return follows Pakistan's 3-0 Test-series loss to England.

The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited are currently second in the competition.
