Jagan Accuses Naidu of Credit Theft
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of the YSRCP, accused the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, of taking credit for a land resurvey programme that Reddy claims was started and completed during his party's time in power.
Reddy said the programme was a big improvement for farmers and used advanced technology.
He also said that Naidu changed the color of the passbooks given to farmers and took credit for the work.
Reddy also mentioned that the new passbooks have errors, causing more problems for farmers.
Additionally, Reddy demanded the status of Leader of Opposition to expose the government's actions, while the Speaker suggested penalties for absentee MLAs and a 'Right to recall' for voters.
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused CM Naidu of 'credit chori' over the land resurvey programme.
Reddy claimed the programme was conceived during his 3,600-km padayatra and implemented by YSRCP between 2019-2024.
The Rs 6,000-crore programme used advanced technologies and employed over 40,000 personnel.
