Israeli Forces Crack Down on Tal After Settler March
A small village called Tal in the West Bank had a big problem.
Over 100 Israeli settlers marched there, and some of them took things from houses and broke a cemetery.
The Israeli army shot at a Palestinian, arrested a few people, and blocked the village.
The army said it was there to stop the settlers, but the villagers say the army helped them.
The whole thing happened after a previous attack that killed people on both sides.
It shows how hard it is to keep peace in that area.
Israeli forces shot and wounded a Palestinian, arrested at least three, and blocked entrances to Tal after a march of over 100 settlers.
Settlers reportedly stole goods from Palestinian homes and vandalized a cemetery while soldiers did not intervene.
Palestinian residents claim the army used tear gas and live ammunition to intimidate them and facilitate settler actions.
Israeli officials say the military was present to disperse settlers and evacuate the area, denying cooperation with settlers.
The incident follows a settler attack that killed four Palestinians and two Israelis, which the Netanyahu government labeled terrorism.
