Dhurandhar's Success and Controversial Themes

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, has been a massive box office hit, earning over Rs 552.70 crore worldwide.

The film features an ensemble cast and has a runtime of over 3.5 hours.

Despite its success, the film has faced criticism for promoting controversial ideas, such as an unaccountable intelligence apparatus.

Some argue that the film undermines democratic institutions and glorifies a 'deep state.'

The film's sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2: Revenge, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.

Ranveer Singh is also set to star in Don 3 and a zombie film called Pralay in the coming years.
