CBI Arrests Officer in Custodial Death Case After SC Warning
The CBI, a special police team, arrested a police officer named Uttam Singh Kushwaha.
This happened because a man named Deva Pardhi died while in police custody, and the court was not happy with the investigation.
The court had warned the CBI and the government to arrest the officers involved.
Kushwaha and another officer were accused of wrongdoings.
Before his death, Deva Pardhi and his uncle were arrested, but the family says they were mistreated.
The investigation was transferred to the CBI because of how it was handled earlier.
The CBI is still looking for another officer, Sanjit Singh Mavai, and has a reward for information.
The CBI arrested police officer Uttam Singh Kushwaha in Indore.
The arrest followed a Supreme Court warning about the case.
