Gul Panag Shares How Her Son Learns About Indian Culture

Gul Panag, along with her husband and son, went on a trip to Chennai to learn more about Indian culture, especially the Onam festival.

They wanted their son, Nihal, to understand India's different cultures beyond what he learns in school.

They visited temples, tried traditional food, shopped for clothes, and even learned to play a South Indian board game called Pallanguzhi.

Gul and her husband grew up moving around India as army brats, so they wanted to give their son a similar experience of adaptability and openness.

This trip helped Nihal connect what he learned in school with real-life experiences.
