Akhilesh-Jayant War Of Words Grows As UP Ministers Intervene
Two political leaders in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary, are arguing publicly.
Their disagreement is connected to the RLD’s place in the National Democratic Alliance.
Akhilesh made a remark about how many seats the RLD would need to win to be respected.
Jayant said the remark was too casual and warned Akhilesh not to continue.
Several Uttar Pradesh ministers supported Jayant.
They said the Chaudhary family has an important history in Indian politics.
One minister also said the SP has not treated its old allies properly.
The argument is happening before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
The dispute between SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and RLD president Jayant Chaudhary has intensified ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Akhilesh Yadav questioned whether the RLD would receive respect in the NDA unless it won 73 seats.
Jayant Chaudhary warned that Akhilesh should not make light remarks, saying he could respond in a way that would hurt the SP in Uttar Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh ministers Narendra Kashyap, Om Prakash Rajbhar and Anil Rajbhar backed Jayant Chaudhary and defended the Chaudhary family’s political legacy.
Minister Nand Kishor Gurjar accused SP leaders of making derogatory remarks and said farmers, labourers and youth would oppose comments against Jayant.
