Rise Films Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Major Releases

Rise Films, a London-based documentary production company, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with several major film releases and new projects.

Founded by Teddy Leifer and Paul W. Taylor, the company has produced award-winning documentaries like We Are Together, The Interrupters, and Icarus.

Recent releases include The Balloonists, Teenage Wasteland, Nuisance Bear, and Sumo: Spirit Weighs Nothing, which will debut at the Venice Film Festival.

The company is also working on new projects like The Delicate and a bio-doc about Paul Robeson.

Despite challenges in the documentary industry, Leifer remains optimistic about the future of creative and ambitious documentaries.
