National Judo Meet Held Under Damaged Roof In Bhopal
More than 500 students have come to Bhopal for a national judo competition.
The competition is being held in the Judo Arena at TT Nagar Stadium.
Parts of the arena’s false ceiling have fallen down.
Wires and plumbing can now be seen above the students.
The school organizers wanted to move the event but did not have enough space elsewhere.
They also could not get approval to use another stadium hall.
A stadium official said the ceiling panels were made of thermocol and would not hurt students if they fell.
Repairs were taking place, and the stadium said the event was being held at the organizers’ own risk.
