Verstappen Explains Family Absence at Abu Dhabi GP
Max Verstappen, the Formula One champion, explained why his family won't be at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
His dad is rallying in Africa, and his mom is home with her dogs.
Max didn't think he would be in the title race this late, so his family didn't plan to come.
He said his family doesn't need to motivate him; he gives his best when he's racing.
Max won the 2024 title earlier but his parents weren't there.
His family was at the next race in Qatar, though.
Max is still in the race for the title this year.
Max Verstappen's family will not attend the Abu Dhabi GP due to his father's rallying in Africa and his mother's preference to stay home with her dogs.
Verstappen did not initially plan for his family to attend as he did not expect to be in the title fight until the end of the season.
Verstappen's father, Jos, is a former F1 driver and current rally participant.
Verstappen's family was present at the Qatar GP but not at the Las Vegas GP where he secured the 2024 title.
Verstappen remains in contention for the 2025 title, with the Abu Dhabi GP being a crucial race.
