Trump Celebrates Venezuela Oil Seizure
President Trump says the U.S. has taken control of some of Venezuela's oil.
He thinks this is a good thing, but many oil companies are not sure if they want to invest in Venezuela.
The country's oil is expensive to get out of the ground, and the price of oil has been going down.
Plus, Venezuela is not very stable right now.
Trump met with oil company leaders to talk about it, and he said the U.S. might pay them back for any money they spend.
But the oil companies are being careful because it might not be a good deal for them.
Trump claims the U.S. seized $4 billion worth of Venezuelan oil in one day.
Rebuilding Venezuela's oil infrastructure will require tens of billions of dollars and is seen as a risky investment.
Oil prices have fallen over 20% in the past year, making investment less attractive.
The break-even cost for Venezuelan oil is around $80 per barrel, while current prices are under $57.
Oil company executives met with Trump, expressing caution about investing in Venezuela's unstable environment.
