Vile Parle Building Fire: Fire-Fighting System Found in Manual Mode

Vile Parle Building Fire: Fire-Fighting System Found in Manual Mode

A fire broke out at night in a big building in a place called Vile Parle, in Mumbai, India.

Sadly, a two-year-old boy and a 23-year-old woman who worked in the building lost their lives.

After the fire, firefighters went to check the building to see what happened.

They found that the building's fire-fighting system, which helps put out fires, was not set to automatic mode.

Instead, it was set to manual mode, so someone would have had to turn it on by hand.

The system also was not making enough water pressure to work properly.

The fire started in an apartment owned by the little boy's grandfather.

The fire department gave the building's society 15 days to fix the problem.

If they do not fix it, they could face legal action.

Firefighters are also talking to the family and other people to learn how the fire started.
