AP Brahmin Corporation Director Criticizes YSRC
A man named Vucchi Bhuvaneswari Prasad, who is the director of the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Corporation, had a press conference.
He said that the YSRC party, which was in power before, did not take care of the Brahmin community.
He mentioned that the current government has increased the pay of priests and given more money for temple rituals.
He also said that the YSRC party does not have the right to talk about Brahmin welfare or the management of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
He criticized the YSRC for not protecting temples and for how they managed temple administration.
Vucchi Bhuvaneswari Prasad accused the YSRC of neglecting Brahmin welfare during its tenure.
He claimed the YSRC merged the Brahmin Corporation with the BC Corporation.
The current coalition government revived the Brahmin Corporation and increased priest remuneration.
Pensions are provided to Brahmin widows and senior citizens under the NTR Bharosa scheme.
