Vedanta Q2 FY26 Profit Drops Amid One-Time Costs Despite Revenue Growth

Vedanta Q2 FY26 Profit Drops Amid One-Time Costs Despite Revenue Growth

Vedanta, a big company, announced its financial results for the period between July and September.

Their profit went down a lot, almost 59%, compared to last year.

This happened mainly because they had a special, one-time cost of over Rs 2,000 crore.

However, the money they earned from their business operations actually went up a little bit.

Their earnings before interest, taxes, and other costs (EBITDA) also increased by 12%, helped by better prices and gains from foreign money.

After the results were released, their stock price on the stock market went down.
