Udhayanidhi Calls for ‘Om Kali, Jai Kali’ Against TVK
Udhayanidhi Stalin is a leader of the DMK party.
He asked party workers to use a new chant against the rival TVK party.
The chant is “Om Kali, Jai Kali...
TVK oru Odugali,” which means TVK is a runaway.
It answers an earlier TVK chant describing the DMK as an evil force.
Udhayanidhi told workers not to mention TVK chief C Joseph Vijay by name.
Instead, he said they should repeat the chant at rallies and while meeting voters at home.
He also criticized the opposing leadership over a deadly stampede in Karur.
He said more than 40 people died and alleged that leaders avoided answering questions.
He asked DMK workers to continue the campaign before the upcoming elections.
Udhayanidhi Stalin urged DMK cadres to counter TVK’s slogan with “Om Kali, Jai Kali.”
The chant responds to TVK chief C Joseph Vijay’s earlier phrase calling the DMK an “evil force.”
He told cadres to repeat the counter-slogan at rallies and during door-to-door campaigning.
Udhayanidhi criticized Vijay and opposing leaders over their response to the Karur stampede.
He alleged that more than 40 deaths were followed by attempts to avoid accountability.
