Sri Lanka Boosts Security for T20 World Cup 2026

Sri Lanka is getting ready for the T20 World Cup in 2026.

They are adding extra security with special armed units to keep everyone safe.

This is because some matches, like the one between India and Pakistan, are very important and need extra protection.

The tournament starts on February 7, and the India vs Pakistan match will be in Colombo.

Sri Lanka is working with India and Pakistan to make sure everything goes smoothly.

They are also making sure that players and fans are safe from the time they arrive until they leave.

Medallin Sports has been appointed as the official travel agent for the tournament, offering match tickets, accommodation, travel, and other services to fans.

This is a big deal because India and Pakistan don't usually play in each other's countries, so they are playing in a neutral place.

Bangladesh tried to move their matches but couldn't, so they withdrew from the tournament.
