Google Gemini Launches Scheduled Actions, Similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT
Imagine Gemini as a super-smart helper.
Google has given Gemini a new feature called 'Scheduled Actions.'
This lets Gemini do things automatically for you, like sending you a news update or adding items to your grocery list, all at specific times.
This is similar to what OpenAI's ChatGPT can do.
The good thing is that Gemini can access your Google stuff, like emails and calendars, to give you even better information.
For example, it can remind you of travel plans from your email or tell you about package deliveries.
However, this is only available to some Google users who have special subscriptions.
Besides this, Gemini is also getting other improvements, like a new, better version of its language model, and easier ways to use it on your phone.
Google's Gemini AI introduces 'Scheduled Actions' for automated tasks.
The feature allows users to set up tasks at specific times or recurring intervals.
Scheduled Actions can access Gmail, Calendar, and other Google services.
The feature is currently limited to Google AI Pro/Ultra subscribers and Workspace users.
Gemini is also receiving updates to its interface and language model.
