Yercaud Ghat Road Landslip: Repair Work Underway
Imagine a road going up a mountain, like the one to Yercaud.
Part of the road had a landslip, meaning some of the ground under it fell away.
This happened at a turn in the road, causing a wall to collapse and leaving a gap.
The people in charge are fixing it!
They started by putting sandbags to keep things from getting worse.
They plan to build a new wall to make it safe.
The quick fix will take a couple of days, but building the new wall will start in July.
People driving there now need to be careful because of the damage.
