Delhi HC Rejects Oberoi Family Arbitration Plea

Delhi HC Rejects Oberoi Family Arbitration Plea
Delhi HC rejects Natasha Oberoi’s plea to arbitrate family feud over PRS Oberoi estate · livemint.com

The Delhi High Court has said no to a request by Natasha Oberoi to solve her family's argument about her father's estate through arbitration.

The court said that arguments about Wills and who gets what from a family's money must be decided in regular courts, not by private people.

Natasha and her siblings are fighting over two different Wills left by their father, P.R.S. Oberoi, who was a big hotel owner.

One side says a newer Will from 2021 is the real one, while the other side says an older Will from 1992 is the correct one.

The court said the argument is about who gets the family's money, not about how the company is run, so it must be decided in court.
