India's Soyameal Exports Rise 38% in Oct-Nov
India has sent out a lot more soyameal in the first two months of the 2025-26 oil year.
They sent 38% more soyameal compared to the same time last year.
This is because countries like France and Germany want more of it.
Even though they made more soyameal, people in India bought a little less of it for animal feed and food.
Some buyers prefer a cheaper alternative called DDGS.
India also made more soyabean this year and has a lot in stock.
France was the biggest buyer, followed by Germany and Bangladesh.
India's soyameal exports increased by 38% to 3.34 lakh tonnes in Oct-Nov 2025.
Production of soyabean meal rose by 5% compared to the previous year.
Domestic demand for soyabean meal declined by 8.7% in the feed sector and 6.66% in the food sector.
France was the largest buyer of Indian soyameal, followed by Germany and Bangladesh.
Soyabean market arrivals were slightly lower at 33 lakh tonnes due to weak demand.
