WhatsApp Tests Voice Chat with Meta AI for Android
WhatsApp is testing a new feature where you can talk to Meta AI, like having a voice chat with a helpful robot inside the app.
You can start a voice chat by tapping on a special icon.
The app has settings to let you automatically switch to voice when you open Meta AI.
If you want to do other things, you can shrink the voice chat.
The feature is only being tested on Android phones for now.
WhatsApp is testing a real-time voice interaction feature with Meta AI for Android users.
Users can start voice conversations by tapping a waveform icon or switching mid-conversation.
A 'Voice Preferences' setting enables automatic voice mode upon accessing the chatbot.
The Meta AI icon in the Calls tab automatically changes to a waveform symbol for voice interaction.
Users can minimise the voice chat to continue using other apps.
