Karnataka to Verify Egg Safety Claims
A video by Trustified claimed that Eggoz eggs contained a substance linked to banned drugs that can cause cancer.
The founder of Eggoz, Abhishek Negi, said this is not true.
He explained that Eggoz eggs are made without any antibiotics and are safe to eat.
Negi shared lab reports to show that the eggs do not contain any harmful substances.
The Karnataka government, through Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, said they will verify the claims before taking any action.
Rao advised people not to panic or stop eating eggs until the facts are verified.
The government will decide if further testing is needed after gathering more information.
