Coldplay, U2, Ed Sheeran Top Pollstar’s Touring Artists

Pollstar, a concert trade publication, recently ranked the top 25 touring artists of the millennium based on ticket sales from 2001 to 2025.

Coldplay topped the list with 24.8 million tickets sold, followed by U2 with 20.2 million and Ed Sheeran with 19.6 million.

Taylor Swift, who is the only woman in the top 10, came in fifth with 18.9 million tickets sold.

The data shows that ticket sales differ from money grossed.

For example, Swift's Eras Tour grossed $2.2 billion, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time, while Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour grossed $1.39 billion.

The Weeknd's After Hours 'Til Dawn Tour also recently crossed the $1 billion mark.

Only four women made it to the top 25 list, including Pink, Beyoncé, and Madonna.
