Ashadh Gupt Navratri Concludes at Mumbai's Shree Mumbadevi Temple

The Ashadh Gupt Navratri festival recently concluded at the Shree Mumbadevi Temple in Mumbai.

This nine-day event, held from 15 July to 22 July, attracted thousands of devotees.

The temple hosted the Shatchandi Mahayajna, a special fire ritual dedicated to Goddess Durga, every day.

The most important part of the festival was the Purnahuti, performed on 21 July.

People came to pray, take part in rituals, and seek blessings.

The temple manager explained that while Chaitra and Sharad Navratri are more widely known, Ashadh Gupt Navratri is especially important for those who practice mantra and tantra sadhana.

It's a time when devotees believe they can strongly connect with Goddess Durga.

Although quieter than other Navratri festivals, it holds deep spiritual meaning for many.
