Congo Mine Collapse: At least 32 Dead in Lualaba Province

A mine in Congo where people dig for copper suddenly fell down on November 15.

This happened in a place called Lualaba Province.

At least 32 people lost their lives, and about 20 others were hurt very badly.

Some people think that soldiers being there made the miners panic, and they all rushed to the mine.

The mine was not licensed, meaning it wasn't officially approved and might not have had proper safety rules.

Congo is a very important country because it supplies most of the cobalt needed for batteries in things like electric cars and phones.

Many people in Congo work in small mines, but sometimes these places can be dangerous because they are not well-regulated, leading to accidents like this.
