Priyanka Chopra was no overnight success, says manager Anjula Acharia
Priyanka Chopra is a famous actress from India who became a star in Hollywood.
Some people thought she became famous very quickly.
Her old manager, Anjula Acharia, says that is not true.
They worked very hard together for seven years before Priyanka became famous in America.
She went to many small meetings instead of acting like a big star.
She did not let fame go to her head.
A doctor who studies our minds says being humble helps people succeed.
Humble people listen to advice and learn new things.
Priyanka also chose good people to work with.
All that hard work helped her grow.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas was not an 'overnight success' in Hollywood, according to her talent manager Anjula Acharia.
Acharia said she and Chopra spent seven years building her US career before her breakthrough in the TV series Quantico and covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair.
Acharia praised Chopra's lack of ego, saying the top Indian star took meetings with 'the assistant of the assistant' as she rebuilt her career in America.
Acharia stressed that picking the right collaborators and partners is a big part of success.
Psychologist Dr Rimpa Sarkar said humility is a psychological advantage that supports adaptability, resilience and stronger professional relationships.
