Carlo Chatrian Named Tokyo Film Festival Jury President

Carlo Chatrian, who has worked at other film festivals, will be the boss of the judges at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

He used to pick the movies shown at film festivals in Locarno and Berlin.

While at Berlin, he made a big change by having gender-neutral acting awards, which other festivals later adopted.

Chatrian has also written about movies and visited Japan for film events.

He's now in charge of a museum in Italy and is part of important movie groups.

He is excited to watch the films and meet the other judges.
