Diptyque Launches New Peacock-Inspired Perfume in India
Diptyque, a luxury fragrance brand, released a new perfume named Lazulio in India.
It's designed to smell like a peacock feather.
Perfumer Quentin Bisch used ingredients like rhubarb for a bright, fresh scent, similar to the light on the feather.
He added benzoin for a warm, comforting feel, like the eye of the feather.
Vetiver and rose were also included to add depth and elegance.
The goal wasn't to copy the smell of a feather, but to capture its feeling through carefully chosen scents.
The perfume comes in Diptyque's signature oval bottle, with art designed by Nigel Peake.
