Students Clash With Police in Patna Over BPSC Exam

Students in Patna are protesting an important government examination.

They want the 70th Bihar Public Service Commission examination cancelled.

They say there may have been irregularities or a paper leak.

The march began at Gandhi Maidan and was headed toward Raj Bhavan.

Police placed barricades to control where the protesters could go.

Some protesters crossed the barricades, and clashes followed.

Police used water cannons and arrested several students.

The students are also asking for changes to another teacher recruitment examination.

Anger increased after a BPSC official was accused of making a disrespectful remark, leading to his suspension by the Bihar government.
