Ship Logs Allegedly Show PNS Hunain’s Deliberate Bow Cut

Indian officials say a Pakistani ship called PNS Hunain moved very close to an Indian naval ship.

They say it followed the Indian ship and ignored warnings.

The Pakistani ship then sped across the front of the Indian ship.

The two ships made physical contact, according to the report.

Indian investigators say the ship’s records did not show a broken engine or steering problem.

They believe the move was deliberate and unsafe.

The report says this may have broken a 1991 agreement between India and Pakistan.

That agreement calls for the countries’ naval ships to stay at least three nautical miles apart in international waters.
