BRS Leader Seeks Smaller NEET-PG All India Quota

BRS Leader Seeks Smaller NEET-PG All India Quota

B Vinod Kumar asked India’s Health Minister to change how postgraduate medical seats are shared.

He wants the All India quota to fall from 50% to 15%.

He said undergraduate medical seats already use a 15% national quota.

According to him, the larger postgraduate quota makes it harder for students from Telangana to get seats.

Telangana has built more medical colleges and postgraduate programs since 2014.

Vinod Kumar said these seats should help provide doctors for Telangana’s government and rural hospitals.

He also wants the government to study how many seats each state provides and receives.

The Health Ministry’s response was not stated in the article.
