₹3.5 Crore Irregularity in Panchgavya Cancer Research
A university in Jabalpur, India, is in trouble for using money in a wrong way.
They got ₹3.5 crore from the government to research if Panchgavya, which is made from cow dung, urine, and milk, can help treat cancer.
But instead of using the money for research, they spent it on things like buying cow dung, urine, expensive machines, luxury cars, and travel.
They also didn't keep proper records.
Some people in the university might be responsible, but they say they didn't do anything wrong.
The government is still deciding what to do next.
Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University in Jabalpur allegedly misused ₹3.5 crore in Panchgavya cancer research.
₹1.92 crore was spent on cow dung, urine, raw materials, pots, and machines worth only ₹15-20 lakh.
Funds were also used for 24 air journeys, a luxury car, fuel, maintenance, labor, furniture, and electronic items.
The investigation found misuse of funds, unnecessary expenses, and missing documents.
No FIR has been registered yet, but further action, including police investigation, is possible.
