AAP Announces 11 Candidates Ahead of Jaipur Civic Elections
The Aam Aadmi Party, or AAP, has chosen candidates for 11 Jaipur city wards.
These candidates will compete in the 2026 municipal elections.
A municipal election chooses people who help manage a city.
Voting in Jaipur is planned for September 11, 2026.
The city has more than 2.4 million registered voters.
AAP announced its candidates early so they have more time to meet residents and campaign.
The party wants to talk about clean streets, water, roads and other local problems.
Its participation could create three-way contests with the Congress and BJP.
