Sikh Youth's Viral Mexico Video Warns Against 'Donkey Route'
A young Sikh man made a video from Mexico.
In the video, he is crying and looks hurt.
He tells other people not to try to go to America the illegal way.
People call this way the "donkey route."
He says he was hurt by other people when he tried to run away.
He says he cannot walk properly anymore.
The video was put on TikTok and lots of people shared it.
It shows that some trips to other countries can be very dangerous and cost a lot of money.
Experts and authorities say people should not trust agents who promise safe journeys.
A 33-second video of a distressed Sikh youth allegedly stranded in Mexico has gone viral, showing him crying and warning against the illegal "donkey route" to the United States.
The youth claims he was assaulted after attempting to flee, leaving him unable to walk properly, and he points to the person recording the video as the one who brought him there.
The video was reportedly uploaded on TikTok on August 13 from the account @amol__singh before being widely shared on X.
The youth's identity and location could not be independently established from the video.
Reports say such illegal migration journeys can cost between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, sometimes reaching Rs 70 lakh, with migrants facing exploitation, assault, and hostage-taking by criminal groups.
