Three elderly die in Delhi fires

On December 31, three elderly people died in two separate fires in Delhi.

In the first incident, an elderly couple, Prem and Asha Malhotra, died in a fire at their home in Shahdara.

The fire started in the afternoon, and firefighters and police responded quickly.

The couple was taken to the hospital but couldn't be saved.

Doctors said they died from breathing too much smoke.

The police think a gas cylinder might have caused the fire, but they are still checking.

The fire didn't spread to other houses.

In the second incident, a 72-year-old woman, Fazila Kishwar, died in a fire in Shaheen Bagh.

The fire started early in the morning, and firefighters and ambulances came to help.

Five people, including Fazila, were taken to the hospital.

Fazila had breathing problems and died during treatment.

The fire started in the parking area and damaged some vehicles.

The police are still investigating how the fire started.
