Justice Varale Urges More Education Spending for Marathi Schools

Justice Prasanna Varale spoke about problems in Maharashtra’s schools.

He said many Marathi-language schools have closed.

He suggested that a small part of the money planned for large projects could have helped keep some schools open.

He also said some Ashram school students do not have proper facilities.

In one case, female students had to sleep on the floor.

He warned that students could struggle if these problems continue.

He wants schools to have good classrooms, teachers, clean toilets, and safe drinking water.

He also urged parents to support their children’s interests and education.
