ISRO's PSLV-C61 Mission Fails Due to Third-Stage Glitch
Imagine a rocket trying to put a special camera (EOS-09) into space to take pictures of Earth.
This rocket, called PSLV-C61, had a problem with one of its engines during the flight.
This engine issue caused the rocket to not reach the correct height and the mission couldn't be finished.
The camera was meant to help see the Earth even when it's cloudy, useful for things like weather and helping with disasters.
Now, experts will figure out what went wrong to prevent it from happening again.
It is like a team of mechanics trying to find out what broke in your car.
The PSLV-C61 rocket, carrying the EOS-09 satellite, failed shortly after liftoff.
The failure occurred due to a technical issue in the third stage of the rocket.
EOS-09 was designed for Earth observation, using Synthetic Aperture Radar for all-weather imaging.
This was the PSLV's third failure in 63 launches.
ISRO has formed a committee to investigate the cause of the failure.
