Flag Foundation of India Launches Tiranga Recycling Initiative
The Flag Foundation of India (FFOI) has started a new project to recycle old Indian flags.
This idea came up because more people are now allowed to fly the flag, and it's made from different materials like polyester.
The FFoI worked with IIT Delhi to find a way to recycle the flags.
They had a special event at Jindal House in Delhi to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of a court decision that let everyone in India fly the flag.
At the event, guests were given recycled flags.
The Jindals, who lead the FFoI, are also working to make people more aware of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
They want January 23 to be recognized as National Flag Day and are planning a flag museum.
Naveen Jindal says that every citizen can help the flag fly higher by doing their best for the country.
The Flag Foundation of India (FFOI) launched a Tiranga recycling initiative to address the disposal of worn-out flags.
The initiative was announced at an event celebrating the 22nd anniversary of the Supreme Court judgment that democratized the use of the Indian National Flag.
FFOI collaborated with IIT Delhi to develop technology for recycling the flags.
Guests at the event received recycled flags as a gift.
The Jindals are promoting awareness campaigns for 'Har Ghar Tiranga' and seeking recognition of January 23 as National Flag Day.
