Vishal Says Friendship With Udhayanidhi Stalin Unchanged Amid Political Differences
A famous movie actor named Vishal talked about his old friend Udhayanidhi Stalin.
Udhayanidhi is a politician who got in trouble for something he said.
He was arrested, but he was let out on bail.
Some people thought his words were mean jokes about actress Trisha and the leader of the state, Vijay.
Udhayanidhi said he was really only talking about a water problem.
Vishal said he and Udhayanidhi are still friends, even though their politics are different.
The two went to the same school when they were kids, and Vishal said he still loves Udhayanidhi and his wife.
Earlier, Vishal had complained about Udhayanidhi's movie company, saying it treated him unfairly.
But he said that does not change how he feels about his friend.
Vishal also asked Vijay to punish people on YouTube who say mean things about women actors.
Actor Vishal said his friendship with Udhayanidhi Stalin remains unchanged despite their political differences.
Udhayanidhi Stalin was arrested over an alleged double-entendre remark involving Chief Minister Vijay and Trisha Krishnan and later released on bail.
Vishal earlier accused Udhayanidhi's production house Red Giant Movies of a monopoly and unfair practices during the releases of his films Enemy and Mark Antony.
Speaking at the audio launch of Magudam in Chennai, Vishal asked CM Vijay to punish YouTubers who speak ill of female artists.
The controversy began at a rally in Thanjavur over the Cauvery water dispute, where slogans involving Trisha were raised by the crowd.
