Delhi Capitals face UP Warriorz in WPL decider
The Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz are playing a very important match in the Women's Premier League.
If Delhi wins, they will go to the next round called the Eliminator.
If UP Warriorz win, things get more complicated, and the team with the best net run rate (a way of measuring performance) among Delhi, UP, and Mumbai Indians will advance.
Delhi has some good players like Lizelle Lee and Shafali Verma, but they haven't been scoring many runs.
UP Warriorz have two strong players, Meg Lanning and Phoebe Litchfield, but Litchfield is injured.
Both teams need to play well to win.
Delhi Capitals need a win to secure a spot in the Eliminator against Gujarat Giants.
UP Warriorz can force a three-way tie with Mumbai Indians if they win, deciding the Eliminator spot based on net run rate.
Delhi Capitals' top-order batters have underperformed, with Lizelle Lee being their highest scorer with 230 runs.
UP Warriorz' key bowlers, Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma, have had below-par performances this season.
Young bowlers Nandani Sharma and Shree Charani have been Delhi Capitals' most successful wicket-takers.
