Students advocate for equality and climate action
Students from different schools participated in a debate about gender equality.
Some students argued that achieving gender equality is like chasing a dream that never ends.
Others said it is possible because we already see equality in some places, like on stage and in judging panels.
The team from Mahadevi Birla World Academy won the debate, and a student named Niilesh Ghosh was awarded the Best Speaker.
The debate was part of a school's Founder's Day celebration and aimed to teach students how to think critically and respect different opinions.
Students debated whether gender equality is a utopian pursuit at the 27th L.N. Birla Memorial Invitational Debate.
Mahadevi Birla World Academy won the debate, with Niilesh Ghosh awarded Best Speaker.
Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, was the runner-up team.
The debate discussed various topics, including constitutional morality, feminist theory, and demographic transitions.
