Luthra Brothers Remanded in Goa Club Fire Case
There was a big fire at a nightclub in Goa called Birch by Romeo Lane on December 6, which sadly killed 25 people.
The owners of the nightclub, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, ran away to Thailand right after the fire.
The police found them and brought them back to India.
In court, the brothers said they have some health problems and asked for a mattress in jail, but the court said no because their medical reports didn't show they needed one.
The court decided the brothers should stay in police custody for 5 days while the police investigate what happened.
They will go back to court on December 22.
Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of Birch by Romeo Lane, were remanded to 5-day police custody in connection with the nightclub fire that killed 25 people.
The brothers were deported from Thailand and taken into custody upon their arrival in Delhi.
The defense requested a mattress for the accused due to medical concerns, but the court denied the request.
The court directed the police to conduct another medical examination of the accused.
The next court hearing is scheduled for December 22.
