Abhay Jodhpurkar Details Two Sessions Behind National Award-Winning Song
Abhay Jodhpurkar won a National Award for singing a Marathi song.
The song is called “Navasachi Gauri Mazi” and is from “Gharat Ganpati.”
He recorded it twice.
During the first recording, the song felt too high for his voice.
The music could not be lowered because some instruments had already been recorded.
Before the second session, Abhay practiced and became more comfortable with the melody.
This helped him concentrate on feelings and clear singing.
He said the award was overwhelming, especially because President Droupadi Murmu presented it.
Other awards at the ceremony went to several films and actors.
Abhay Jodhpurkar won the National Award for Best Male Playback Singer for “Navasachi Gauri Mazi.”
The Marathi song appears in “Gharat Ganpati” and was recorded over two sessions.
