Granules India Launches Two CoEs at IIT Hyderabad
Granules India, a big company that makes medicines, opened two special centers at IIT Hyderabad.
One center will help make and study special tiny parts called peptides, which are used in medicines and cosmetics.
The other center will work on making medicines better by studying how different forms of the same medicine work.
These centers will help Granules India make better medicines and work with other companies around the world, like one in Switzerland.
The company's boss said these centers will help them make new and better medicines that can help people all over the world.
Granules India inaugurated two Centers of Excellence (CoEs) at IIT Hyderabad on December 1, 2025.
The Ascelis Center of Excellence for Peptide Development will focus on developing and characterizing peptides for cosmetics, therapeutics, and pharmaceuticals.
The Granules Center of Excellence for Particle Engineering will advance polymorph research, material science, and novel drug delivery systems.
The centers will collaborate with Senn Chemicals, a Swiss-based R&D facility, to strengthen global peptide offerings.
The inauguration aims to enhance Granules India's capabilities in peptides and advanced material sciences, supporting global competitiveness and innovation.
