CPI Says Government Failed to Resolve Employees’ Demands

CPI Says Government Failed to Resolve Employees’ Demands

CPI leader Tatipaka Madhu says the State government has not solved workers’ important problems.

These workers include government employees, teachers, pensioners, and contract workers.

He says they are waiting for a pay increase called Interim Relief.

They are also waiting for a Pay Revision Commission to review their wages.

Madhu says workers were supposed to receive five Dearness Allowance payments, but only two have been released.

He wants the other three payments released soon.

He also wants the government to set a clear deadline for the Pay Revision Commission.

Madhu says the government should meet workers’ unions and settle the issues through talks.
