Fed Chair Warsh Signals Uncertainty Amid AI Stock Sell-Off

The Federal Reserve’s boss, Kevin Warsh, said the U.S. wants inflation to be 2% and that the Fed will keep its plans secret for now.

Because of this, investors in many countries sold stocks that make computers and chips, especially those linked to artificial intelligence.

This made the stock markets go up and down.

Oil prices also fell after the U.S. said it had hit Iran with a big strike.

Big U.S. tech companies like Nvidia and AMD lost a few percent in value.

The overall U.S. stock market, the S&P 500, fell about 1.5%.

The Fed’s decision made markets nervous because people don’t know what the Fed will do next.
