Over 3 Lakh Join Maharashtra Walkathon For Water Conservation

More than three lakh people in Maharashtra joined a walk called the Maha Walkathon.

It happened in all 36 districts of the state.

The walk encouraged people to save soil and water.

A large state-level event was held in Worli, Mumbai.

The route was three kilometres long.

Minister Sanjay Rathod said everyone must help conserve water.

He especially encouraged young people to participate.

People at the event also promised to protect soil and water.

The campaign remembered former Chief Minister Sudhakarrao Naik’s work on water conservation.
