HCL Technologies to Open Techfin Hub in GIFT City
HCL Technologies is opening a new office in GIFT City, Gujarat, to help banks and financial companies with their technology needs.
This office, called a techfin hub, will employ 1,500 people.
Other big tech companies like Infosys, Cognizant, and Wipro are also doing the same thing in GIFT City.
These companies are setting up centers to provide advanced technology solutions.
GIFT City is attracting these companies because it has good infrastructure and access to skilled workers.
The new hub will help these companies serve their global clients.
HCL Technologies plans to establish a techfin hub in GIFT City, Gujarat.
The hub will employ 1,500 people and provide services under the Framework for FinTech entity.
This is HCL Technologies' first such center in Gujarat.
IFSCA has cleared applications from 18 fintech and techfin entities for GIFT City.
Infosys, Cognizant, and Wipro have already set up or plan to set up similar centers.
