Telangana Board Revises Intermediate Syllabus

Telangana Board Revises Intermediate Syllabus

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has made some changes to the syllabus for first-year students starting in 2026.

They have removed some difficult topics from Math 1B and added them to Math 1A to make both papers more balanced.

The exam for math will now be for 60 marks, with 15 marks for internal assessment.

For science courses, practicals will be for 30 marks.

The Chemistry syllabus has been reduced by 30%, and some other subjects by 20%.

The board has also added topics related to Telangana in Telugu language and history.

All these changes are being made to help students who are preparing for exams like JEE and NEET.

The textbooks will now be printed in color with better paper quality and will include QR codes for additional material.

The Telugu Akademi will print the new books, and they plan to make them available by the second week of April 2026.
